Love him or hate him...there's no denying that Michale Moore is a masterful documentarian. ROGER AND ME and BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE in particular rank as two of the best documentaries of all time. SICKO is not quite in their class...but it is very good. Per his usual, Moore blends individual stories of the average man with indictments on broader policy and corporate action. The result is effective..although too one-sided. Counterpoints to some of Mr. Moore's argumesnts on the tremendous need for healthcare reform in America would have actually helped make a stronger case for his side of the argument. All-in-all the movie is wildly entertaining and extremely thought-provoking - two great qualities for any documentary. 4 of 5 hs
