A movie from 1996 that received L.A. Film Critics Association's Best Picture award. A British film about the drama, twists, and turns of family and relationships. It is one of those movies that you think is going to be boring and turns out riveting. Excellent story; outstanding acting. 4.

Swingers

I had never seen this movie from 1996. Vince Vaughn plays Trent, a worldly wise ladies man. Jon Favreau plays Mike, a sensitive guy trying to get over his ex-girlfriend. Trent makes Mike go "out on the town" where Mike continually falls on his face. It is a movie that will make you laugh and make you think. It has a really nice "feel good" ending too. It reminded me in some ways of Sideways, one of my favorite movies. GREAT movie, 4.5. Joe.
