ROCKET SCIENCE

ROCKET SCIENCE reminded me of THUMBSUCKER...a movie from 2005 that I loved. Although I prefer the later...ROCKET SCIENCE is a worthy partner -I highly recommend both films be added to your rental lists. Here's the story of a stuttering, shy, high school cast-off who finds himself on a championship contending debate team. Its always refreshing when a coming-of-age high school comedy/drama is actually thoughtful and smart. The characters in ROCKET SCIENCE are all like the "characters" you remember from your high school days. Whether being nice, or mean, caring, or selfish...everyone in the movie acts as they would in real life. Its that key element that makes ROCKET SCIENCE so much fun to watch. 3 1/2 of 5 hs
